How do I close a savings account?
The way to close a savings account will depend on the type of account you have.
Fixed term savings accounts
Usually, you can't close a fixed term account before it ends. However, in rare cases, the bank may allow early closure - for example, if the account holder has died. You can find more information in the terms for that specific account.
If you need your money early, please contact us and we'll help however we can.
