What is a watchlist and how do I set one up?
You can track the performance of shares, funds, and other investments within a watchlist. It lets you compare the performance of similar investments or keep an eye on a group of investments that interest you.
To get started, log into your account and select the 'My watchlists' tab. The first time you click this tab, you'll be prompted to create your first watchlist. After that, you can create more watchlists by clicking the 'Create watchlist' button. You’ll also see a summary of how each of the watchlists you’ve created are doing.
Watchlists have a similar layout to your portfolio screen. They show many things, including:
- The price of each investment
- The % change since you added it
- The % change on the day
- The live price of any UK-listed shares within your watchlist
You can create up to 10 watchlists and track up to 50 investments within each one. You can also buy investments you have in your watchlist by hitting the 'Deal' button. Just remember that doing this will buy the investment for real.
