IN BRIEF: Sylvania Platinum CFO steps down after five years

Sylvania Platinum Ltd - South Africa-focused platinum group metals producer and developer - Chief Financial Officer Lewanne Carminati is set to step down from the board and as CFO after five years, effective November 30. Promotes Executive Officer Finance Ronel Bosman to CFO with effect on December 1. Notes Bosman’s over 15 years of experience in finance and leadership roles across the mining, facilities management and investment sectors. Adds that Bosman will join the board in due course.

‘I would like to thank Lewanne for everything she has done for Sylvania over the past 16 years, five of those as CFO,’ says Independent Non-Executive Chair Eileen Carr. ‘I would also like to congratulate Ronel on her new, richly-deserved role. Her financial expertise, operational insight, leadership skills and knowledge of the company made her the standout candidate, and I have no doubt she’ll be successful in the role,’ adds Carr.
